Meet the Machines is Revving Its Way to Mather Sports Center on May 9!

Back again! Meet the Machines, a community event for kids of all ages can get up close and personal with unique vehicles and exciting machines. This year, the event is Saturday, May 9 from 10AM to 1:30PM at Mather Sports Center. This FREE event will allow kids to learn about the vehicles they see on the road and television every day. In addition to machines, children can visit the Kids Zone filled with bounce houses, games, balloon animals and face painting. The first hour of the event is horn-free to accommodate children with special needs and sensitive ears.

Confirmed vehicles include: fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, tow trucks, a garbage truck crane, boats, tractors, a school bus, segways, military vehicles, a helicopter and John Deere equipment. New this year, a 135-foot thermal air ship (aka hot air balloon blimp) and Maker’s Space giant-sized Bop It game encouraging teamwork to beat the game.
