CRPD offers a broad selection of day trips and excursions, from day trips to overnight excursions. Visit a favorite destination or explore a new region with friends and family or head out on your own. Shop, tour, explore and be entertained on any of CRPD’s seasonal trips.

Transportation and accommodation fees are included in the cost. Please review individual trip descriptions for information about refreshments, special features and any age restrictions. 

Get Up and Go Motorcoach Trips

The Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center hosts monthly day-trips to various sites around Northern California in partnership with the Orangevale Recreation and Park District and Sunrise Recreation and Park District.

All trips include roundtrip charter bus transportation from the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center, refreshments on the bus, and driver gratuity. Staff will call registered participants the week prior to the trip date with exact departure and return times. Trips are open to all ages, except for casino trips which are only open to participants aged 21 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a paying adult. Seating is assigned by staff. Charter buses accommodate up to 56 passengers and include DVD players, arm and headrests, an onboard restroom, and can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. Participants in wheelchairs must provide advance notice to ensure a bus with a wheelchair lift. Walkers will be stored under the bus during travel.
