Meet the Machines

Cordova Recreation and Park District (CRPD) hosts the annual Meet the Machines event on the Saturday before Mother’s Day from 10AM to 1:30PM. Children of all ages have the opportunity to touch, climb on and explore over 20 machines and unique vehicles. This FREE event allows kids to learn about the vehicles they see on the road and television every day. In addition to machines, children can visit the Kids Zone filled with bounce houses, games, balloon animals and face painting. The first hour of the event is horn-free to accommodate children with special needs and sensitive ears.

Examples of machines and vehicles included at the event are fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, tow trucks, a garbage truck, crane, boats, tractors, a school bus, segways, military vehicles, a helicopter and John Deere equipment.
