Step back in time and experience the legendary island that has been a Civil War fort, a military prison and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US history. Take a self-guided tour of the infamous former federal prison, which was home to the likes of Al Capone, George “Machine Gun” Kelly and Robert “The Birdman” Stroud.
