Staff work with high school students to develop positive life and decision-making skills, while learning to effect change through cultivation of leadership qualities by connecting with other teens in the community. In addition to volunteering and community service projects, the committee conducts exercises in democratic decision making, assessing and understanding community needs, and understanding cultural diversity and team-building projects. In conjunction with Cordova Recreation and Park District, the committee will engage in community fundraisers and local events.
