Polar Bear Plunge

Cordova Recreation and Park District (CRPD) wants you to take the plunge and experience a winter tradition at the annual Polar Bear Plunge event on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lincoln Village Community Pool and the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center. This family friendly event is great for all ages. The plunge will take place at 8:30 a.m.

Party like it’s 32 degrees! Dress up in your wildest costume and take the plunge at our fifth annual Polar Bear Plunge. Afterwards, registered plungers can warm up inside the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center with a complimentary pancake breakfast or do some light shopping at the craft fair. Spectators may purchase a pancake breakfast for an additional fee. Register by December 14 to guarantee your shirt size.

Fees: $10/person to take the plunge (breakfast included)
Breakfast: $5/person, 9 & up and $2/person, 8 & under
