The HYDE Out

After-School Teen Program

Looking for a place for your teen to hang out after school? The HYDE Out offers a comfortable space for local teens to visit at any day and time that they like. Teens will develop new skills, discover new talents and meet new friends with our activity schedule that will provide more flexibility for teens with varying interests. The HYDE Out is located with walking distance from Mills Middle School and Cordova High School, and transportation is provided from Mitchell Middle School (limited seating available).

Youth Advisory Committee – NEW

The Youth Advisory Committee is a NEW volunteer group who will work with CRPD staff to address youth and teen related issues pertaining to recreation services and safe spaces. In addition to volunteering and community service projects, the committee will conduct exercises in a democratic decision making way and assess community needs. Additionally, understanding cultural diversity while enacting in team building projects will be practiced.

Interested teens can join CRPD staff on Thursday, September 1 at 6 p.m. at the Hagan Community Center to learn more about this NEW committee. Time commitment will be roughly 2 hours a month with additional opportunities for community service hours throughout the year. For more information, please contact Brandi at bdionne@crpd.com.

Teen Late Nights

At this fun-filled event, you can participate in various activities such as karaoke, Xbox Series S gaming tournaments, pool and ping pong tournaments, or dodgeball. Pizza and drinks are included. Come on out and invite your friends! Non-members must register by Wednesday before.

Teen All-Stars!

Are you ready to become the campers’ favorite part of camp?! This summer leader-in-training program provides participants with hands-on job experience through participation in our summer camps.

  • Ages: 12-15
  • Commit and pay for at least four (4) weeks of camp
  • Attend full day training in May 2023
  • Fee: $85/week
  • Application available in March 2023

Teen Outdoor Adventures

Looking for adventure? Our new waves or wheels adventure program provides two challenging and rewarding experiences for teens to create new memories and build new friendships. Trips meet at the Hagan Community Center. Must register one week before the adventure date.

Babysitters Training

Career Workshops with CRPD

Learn about 2023 CRPD summer job and volunteer opportunities! This workshop includes resume basics, interview skills, mock interviews and more! Lunch is provided. Free Lifeguard Class for students at select neighboring schools who attend a workshop and pass the lifeguard swim test.
